Ulferts suite
Ann and Iain are the current custodians of Ann's parents vintage 70's Swedish Ulferts sofas and chairs (now rebranded 'the Mackintosh Suite') which needed a complete strip back and reupholster.
Founded in 1944 by Nils Ulferts in Tibro, Sweden, although less well known, is highly regarded for it’s mid-century Scandinavian design. This was an important piece to preserve
They chose a Cristina Marrone Avellino fabric which fits perfectly with the style.
This should last another 50 years much to the delight of their son Euan who is already eyeing it up as the next generation to look after it!
